Friends, what an amazing year it has been at Grace Chapel. Your prayers, hours of time served, and financial gifts have enabled us to reach and impact many in our church community and beyond for Christ. Our mission here at Grace Chapel is to encourage ALL people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
As a result, we want to challenge you to finish 2019 strong and look forward to 2020 with anticipation of what God will do in your life as you too encourage all people. In doing so, here are a few things to consider:
Draw closer to Jesus! We challenge each of you to continue to learn, grow, ask questions, and trust more in Jesus daily. He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life! He desires a personal relationship with each of us. Please keep us posted if there are ways we can continue to help you, involve you, or encourage you. Please do not feel ashamed or afraid to reach out. We are here to help!

Let's not forget to celebrate! 2019 has been special in numerous other ways as well. Many of you made the decision to take a NEXT STEP:
Some into leadership positions
Some onto a SERVE team
Many attending a study group for the very first time
Your church staff has grown with:
A new Connections and Outreach Pastor
A full time Business Office Manager
A fresh focus on our Next Generation, with a full time Youth Director and support team
We have seen an increase in:
Our community outreach, hosting several conferences and concerts
Assisting other churches in their outreach and growth
Hosting family-based events for training and growth
Supporting missions near and far
Watching our own internal programs continue to grow even greater
Our amazing church family has committed to caring more deeply for people too: hosting beautiful weddings, joy-filled adult and infant baptisms and dedications, and serving families in need with funeral services and meals.
It has been a joy serving right along with you! We are now planning for 2020 and beyond. Soon we will be sharing more details about future building and land development plans, new mission opportunities, new community partnerships, along with more ways to get connected, love on others, and serve God. As we say here, “It is a get to!”
Together, let’s continue to be the church— the body of Christ working together to make disciples of one another by showing love— one day and one conversation at a time.
As it states in Hebrews 10:24-25:
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
